Splendid Cradle 2023

Chaos, loss, and mystery are all themes pertinent to Splendid Cradle. How does nature resist or embrace the entropic forces that challenge our normalcy? My graduating exhibition consisted of these six mezzotints, hand-cut and burnished in the style of nocturnal wildlife photography. A snow angel, a broken globe, a ripe persimmon, a loose tooth, a crashed truck, and a spiraling hurricane each contain a moment amidst chaos.
